Do I need a website?
Yes. SKAN analyzes an existing site. If you don't have one, this product isn't for you yet.
What if my score is low?
That's good news: you know what to fix. The report includes concrete steps you can implement yourself or with my help.
Can I implement the recommendations myself?
Yes. The report is written so a developer or your web person can pick it up and start. If you need help, I offer a separate implementation sprint.
How long before I see results after implementing?
Depends on the scope. Simple fixes (robots.txt, meta data) take effect in days. Bigger content changes take weeks. The report marks what gives quick wins.
What if I don't have competitors in my country?
Use competitors from any country who do the same thing. The comparison is by industry, not location.
I have social media but the report says they're missing?
The scanner doesn't check if you have profiles. It checks if your links look professional when someone shares them. Without Open Graph code, a shared link shows as plain text with no image or context. Fix: 10 minutes in WordPress.
I have an 'about' page but the report says company data is missing?
Your 'about' page is for humans. Company data means 10 lines of invisible code that tell AI directly: what you do, where you operate, what you offer. Without it, AI guesses and often guesses wrong.
I've had a good website for years, why is my score low?
A site optimized for Google 2020 is not the same as a site visible to AI. ChatGPT and Perplexity look for ready-made answers, formal company data and new-format business cards. A good old site often has none of these.
A competitor scored higher but their site looks worse?
Design and AI visibility are two different things. The report doesn't judge looks. It measures whether AI can find, understand and cite your site. An ugly site with good technical data will outrank a pretty site without it.
How do I know these changes actually work?
Every change is measurable. After adding llms.txt you can check if ChatGPT cites your site. Schema.org can be verified with Google's tool. A follow-up SKAN will show the score increase.
